Kuda Store Policies
Returns
- Full refund within 24 hours only on “FULL PRICE” items.
- If the item is returned within 14 days there are two options:
- an item may be exchanged or
- a store credit for full purchase price can be issued
- Within 60 days a 25% restocking fee will be applied to the store credit issued
- Within 90 days a 50% restocking fee will be applied to the store credit issued
- After 90 days all sales are final
- All “REDUCED” , “DISCOUNTED” ,“ON SALE”, “CUSTOM ORDERS”, “CUSTOM WORK” items are FINAL SALE, & NOT REFUNDABLE.
Specials & limited time offers
- All special and limited time offers are final sale, for the specified appointed time periods.
Custom Orders
- Please allow 8 – 12 weeks for delivery of custom upholstery orders
- It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the chosen fabric color, pattern and texture are appropriate.
- Custom order items are delivered to store directly. There is a standard Kuda delivery charge to deliver item to customer home or pickup is available
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the furniture will fit. All room spaces, doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and entrance ways need to be pre-measured.
- If the item does not fit and needs to be returned to store, an additional charge of 100% of the delivery fee will be charged to bring item back to store.
- All custom orders are final sale
Custom Work
- Kuda offers an in-house team to accommodate any custom changes you may need on a Kuda furniture item.
- There is a charge for all and any custom work.
- All custom work needs to be paid in full in advance.
- Please allow 2 weeks for custom work and repairs.
Delivery
- A charge will be applied to all deliveries. This charge is determined by number of people required to safely deliver item(s), size of item(s), delivery location distance from store, ease of access: stairs, floor other than main, difficulty of maneuvering to final location.
- Kuda in-house delivery service is generally available Mon-Fri, 9am – 4pm. Flexibility on delivery times is requested. On the day of delivery, traffic and other possible factors could result in delays.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to pre-measure all doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and entrance ways to ensure that the new furniture will fit.
- If the item does not fit and needs to be returned to store, an additional charge of 100% of the delivery fee will be charged to bring item back to store.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to clear all passages to the final location of the item. This includes moving existing furniture, wall hangings, and ensuring that any path, indoors or outdoors is free from any and all obstacles (ice, snow, bikes, toys etc)
- It is the customer’s responsibility to reserve elevators, loading docks, make arrangements with the concierge where necessary and pre-arrange an appropriate parking location where necessary.
- Customers should be home when we deliver to ensure items are received in good order. If the customer is unable to be present at time of delivery, then an authorized person must be present to accept delivery. A waiver must be signed at time of delivery.
Pickups
- Pick-up times are 10am – 5pm, Monday–Friday with advance notice only.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to bring enough help to help move, lift and secure the item(s).
- It is the customers responsibility to come prepared with any materials needed to safely transport item(s), ie: rope, straps, blankets, bubble wrap, tape etc.
- A waiver must be signed at time of pick-up.
- Kuda assumes no responsibility for injury to customer or item during pick-up.
Storage
- All merchandise may be stored at Kuda for up to two weeks after purchase.
- Any items left at Kuda after two weeks will be subject to a storage fee of 5% of the total purchase price per month. The storage fee would need to be paid in full prior to release of item(s)
Warranty
- Kuda warranties all purchases for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty is against any manufacturers defects that may occur. The warranty does not apply to sale or discounted items. Warranty is void if it is determined that item has been misused or abused.
